Pipe Supplies was founded in 2015 by a team of construction industry professionals who saw a clear gap in the market. Local plumbing merchants often carried limited stock, national distributors charged inflated delivery fees, and online retailers frequently lacked the technical expertise to help tradespeople select the correct products. We set out to combine all three strengths under one roof.
Starting from a modest warehouse unit in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, we began by supplying PVC soil pipe and basic copper plumbing materials to local contractors. Word spread quickly among the trade community. Builders appreciated our competitive pricing. Plumbers valued the fact that our staff could genuinely discuss pipe specifications, pressure ratings and jointing methods. Within two years, we had outgrown our original premises and moved into our current facility at Raincliffe House, Barker Lane, Brampton.
Today, we hold over 5,000 product lines in stock across eight major categories: PVC, MDPE, HDPE, copper, steel, drainage, fittings and accessories. Our customer base extends across every county in England, Scotland and Wales, from sole-trader plumbers handling domestic bathroom refits to major housebuilders managing developments of 500 or more units.
Despite our growth, our operating principles remain unchanged. Every order is picked and checked by experienced warehouse staff. Every technical query is answered by someone who has worked on construction sites. Every delivery is tracked from dispatch to your door. We remain a privately owned, VAT-registered business with no external investors and no pressure to cut corners.

Every batch of pipe and every box of fittings undergoes quality checks before it reaches our shelves. We carry full traceability documentation for all materials we sell, and we will never substitute an inferior product to save a few pence on cost.
We believe in transparent pricing and straightforward communication. Our listed prices include VAT. There are no hidden surcharges for standard deliveries to mainland UK addresses. When we say an item is in stock, it is physically sitting in our warehouse. If there is a delay, we tell you before you find out the hard way on site.

We operate a same-day dispatch policy on orders placed before 2pm, with next-working-day delivery across mainland UK. Our distribution centre at Raincliffe House in Brampton, Chesterfield occupies over 15,000 square feet of dedicated warehousing space. The facility is organised into clearly defined zones for each product category, enabling our picking team to assemble orders rapidly and accurately.
We invested significantly in racking systems designed to store long-length pipes safely, from 3-metre PVC sticks to 6-metre HDPE lengths. Coiled products such as MDPE and multilayer pipe are stored on dedicated pallet racking with easy access for forklift handling. Smaller items like fittings, valves and accessories are held in a bin-location system with barcode scanning to minimise picking errors.
Our loading bay accommodates multiple delivery vehicles simultaneously, allowing us to dispatch high volumes of orders each afternoon for next-working-day arrival. All stock levels are managed through a live inventory system, which means the availability information you see on our website reflects what is physically on our shelves at that moment.

All pipes and fittings conform to the applicable British and European Standards, including BS EN 1329, BS EN 1401, BS EN 12201 and BS EN 1057, among others relevant to each material type.
Our potable water supply products, including MDPE and copper pipes, carry Water Regulations Advisory Scheme approval, confirming their suitability for use in drinking water systems throughout the UK.
